Responsibilities
- The data scientist and AI developer is responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the Southwire’s connected factory systems, robotic process automation systems, and other computer system integrations
- An individual in this role will also analyze connected factory data for trends and reporting
- This individual will work with a variety of software tools as well as interact with a variety of IT and business functions
- Collect and analyze business and factory data
- Transfer data into new formats to make data more appropriate for analysis
- Generating reports on business and factory data
- Search through large data sets for usable information
- Adding / maintaining OPC tags
- Build automations to automate data collection and reporting
- Support and maintain scripts in VB Script, Java, Python, and PowerShell, or any other up and coming scripting languages
- Develop and maintain RPA bots
- RPA automation monitoring and troubleshooting
- Other responsibilities as assigned
