Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Strong communication skills both orally and written Proficiency with MS Excel and Word and accounting software
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and documents
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
Responsibilities
- The Financial Analyst will perform a variety of activities in the preparation, examination, and interpretation of accounting and financial records, reports, and statements
- The incumbent will be involved with the general ledger, finance statements, budget preparation, forecasts, month-end closing and other cost/financial analysis compliant with all company and GAAP policies
- Meet month-end closing deadlines to provide accurate Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statements
- Prepare and analyze Cost Center Reports
- Maintain standard inventory costs and close and analyze all Production Orders
- Prepare monthly Warranty, Scrap, and Tariff and PPV Reports
- Assist with monthly Forecasts and Annual Budget preparation
- Assist with Annual Cost Roll
- Assist with Audit Requests from Division and Corporate teams
- Assist as backup for payroll and provide payroll approval
- Prepare monthly Account Reconciliations
- Observe all procedures and policies in accordance with GAAP, company policy, and federal/state regulations
