Assistant Service Manager

Responsibilities
- Must work weekends (Tuesday & Wednesday off)
- Serving as a liaison between technicians and customers
- Take ownership of the customers’ experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave an impressionable experience with the customer
- Organizes and understands all information pertaining to the department to ensure an efficient and profitable department
- Utilizes all available information to ensure proper resolution of problems
- Resolves all disputes and difficulties with professionalism and composure
- Performs multiple tasks simultaneously in order to meet and exceed deadlines and expectations
- Creates a positive environment by recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, motivating and rewarding Service Department employees
- Dispatching work between technicians
- Ensure customer has a positive dealership experience
- Team Leadership: Assisting in the supervision and management of the service team
- This may include providing guidance, training, and support to team members
- Workflow Management: Coordinating and scheduling service appointments, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and managing work orders efficiently
- 8 hour shift
