WCP empowers our growing ecosystem of customers and partners to be more agile and to build solutions for a changing world. About the Role As a Product Designer on the Workday Cloud Platform team, you will work closely with Product and Engineering to create beautiful developer experiences that help our users build custom applications and integrations on top of core Workday products. Having a technical background will give you an advantage when empathizing with and designing for our personas. You will lead design-thinking workshops with product managers, engineers and internal users, prototype ideas, and iterate to bring forth innovative solutions. You'll also execute user research to better understand our users and discover where we simplify or fortify the developer experience. About You You are organized, care about the details, and have a strong intellectual curiosity. You strive to transform complex tasks into delightful and effortless experiences for users. You understand that achieving great design is a team effort and requires collaboration with cross functional partners. You are willing to show your work early and often because you believe showing is more important than telling. You can drive dissenting opinions to conclusion, with a result that is best for the customer. Basic Qualifications 5+ years of UX Design experience creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate your design concepts 2+ years using modern design and prototyping software and tools (like Figma) A portfolio of design work/case studies demonstrating your principles, methodologies, and approach BA/BS or MA/MS degree in human-computer interaction, human factors, psychology, computer science, or related field Other Qualifications Ability to transform complex, technical use cases into simple, elegant and modern experiences Ability to develop positive relationships with UX peers, product managers, and engineers Ability to communicate and collaborate across stakeholders and a variety of cross-functional partners Ability to explore several design solutions, prototype and iterate based on quantitative/qualitative customer research and experimentation Excellent verbal and written communication skills to craft compelling stories utilizing personas and scenarios Technical background and/or experience in software development is a plus Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
