Responsibilities

  • The Store/Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a retail store
  • This role involves managing a team of sales associates, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring excellent customer service
  • The Store/Sales Manager plays a crucial role in achieving sales targets, maintaining inventory levels, and fostering a positive working environment
  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales associates
  • Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and collaborate with relevant teams to optimize stock levels
  • Oversee the layout and presentation of merchandise to maximize sales
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's visual appeal
  • Compliance and Security:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Implement security measures to protect the store's assets and minimize losses
  • Provide regular reports to higher management on sales performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics
  • Sales & Marketing:
  • Identify and analyze local market trends, customer behavior, and competition
  • Develop and implement targeted local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive foot traffic to the store
  • Create compelling campaigns tailored to the local audience
  • Utilize various channels such as social media, community events, and partnerships to promote the store locally
  • Develop a cold calling strategy to reach out to potential clients, partners, and collaborators
  • Create and maintain a database of potential leads, prospects, and contacts
  • Initiate outbound calls to introduce the store's products/services, build relationships, and explore potential partnerships
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes
  • Continuously develop personal and team product knowledge
  • 8 hour shift
