Qualifications

  • 6+ years as product designer, interaction designer, or user experience designer, in consumer and/or enterprise telecom, media and technology industry
  • Experience in design-thinking, prototyping, design systems, web & mobile apps, with track record of taking innovative designs to launch
  • Track record of launching new products and services -- from product design to serving customers -- within a large company environment but working at a start-up pace
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a cross-functional environment across multiple time-zones
  • A systems thinker, capable of identifying issues, understanding linkages and brainstorming revolutionary solutions
  • A strong communicator, able to articulate your point-of-view, engage in fact- based discourse, collaborate, compromise, and bridge gaps

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be responsible for designing products that are meaningful to our customers, easy to use, and of the highest quality
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a talented and highly collaborative organization of engineers, data analysts, marketers, and product managers to create a best-in-class product experience for our customers
  • Product ideation: take conceptual ideas and turn them into product experiences that are meaningful to our customers
  • Partner with product managers to determine what customer problems we are solving, and how we solve and prevent them
  • Prototyping: communicate product ideas by crafting end-to-end flow prototypes, that can be used to build consensus and alignment with stakeholders
  • Product direction: collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to contribute to communicating strategic product decisions and help shape the product vision
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders - including software engineers, product managers, operations, marketing, sales, and customer support teams
  • Work closely with these teams to ensure successful product launches, resolve issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify market trends, evaluate competitor offerings, and develop strategies to differentiate our services
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

  • The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $145,000 to $155,000
  • This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for
  • The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job
