Job Description In this very technical, and highly visible role, you will be the primary technical contact delivering technical support for premium customers for the FortiConverter service.
Responsibilities:
o Collection, analysis and change recommendations of configuration information o Recommend actions based on analysis o Installation and configuration assistance o Reproduction of customer environments on lab equipment o Follow up technical cases and manage the right expectation until the closure of the cases o Conduct status conference calls with customers to report status of open issues and projects o Work closely and provide direct technical email and phone support to our customers worldwide o Work with customers via phone, remote meeting sessions, ticket system, taking over escalations o Work closely with FortiConverter developer and QA team to improve quality of service Required Skills o Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional experience preferably in the network industry o... Must possess strong network security and routing experience o Exceptional customer service orientation and strong communication skills o Windows familiarity o FortiGate FortiOS(NSE certifications additional plus) o Various Routers / Switches (Cisco CatOs, Cisco IOS, JunOS, PanOS, etc.) o Practical Hands-on knowledge of protocols and applications and ability to debug o ISO Layers 1-7 o RPC, TCP, UDP, SMTP, SNMP, WMI, RDP, SSH, TLS, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Proxy, IPS, ISA, NFS, SAN, NAS, etc. o Prefer candidates with CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/S equivalent o Also prefer candidates with scripting experience for python, and exceptionally good debugging skills (for debugging config syntax, errors, etc) Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
