Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have experience with court and trial
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Massachusetts
- 2 or more years of experience in personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful litigation and trial work
- Knowledge of personal injury law and procedures, with the ability to handle a diverse range of cases
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve fair and favorable settlements for clients
- Strong trial skills, with the ability to present cases effectively in court
- Ability to work independently and manage a high caseload, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of personal injury litigation, including the investigation of claims, drafting and filing of pleadings, discovery, and preparation for trial
- Advocate for clients' rights and best interests, seeking maximum compensation for their injuries and losses
- Conduct negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve fair settlements
- Prepare and present cases in court, leveraging strong trial skills to advocate effectively for clients
