Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Business or Engineering; equivalent related experience in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) and/or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) equipment considered without a degree
  • General knowledge of manufacturing processes (metal cutting, metal forming, etc.)
  • Possess strong closing skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft applications including, but not limited to SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Vizio
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Skilled at marketing and sales presentations to large and small groups

Responsibilities

  • In this role you will be responsible for the market development and sales of Oerlikon Balzers Equipment solutions in the US and Canada
  • Up to 75% of travel is required (some international travel is needed)
  • Build the territory by hunting for new customers in the USA and Canada
  • Make equipment product recommendations based on the needs of the customer
  • Maintain existing OEM Oerlikon Balzers equipment customers by providing after sales product support in upgrades, fixtures, and maintenance options
  • Provide budget and forecast data for Equipment Sales in the region
  • Contribute to the accurate reporting of all existing PVD equipment in the region
  • Submit sales and expense reports in a timely manner
  • Provide technical assistance and information to management, coworkers, and customers
  • Provide sales support to global Oerlikon Balzers entities
