Qualifications
- The candidate must have a verifiable sales history in the logistics industry, power-only experience is an added value.
- We require the candidate to have a book of business, customer connections, and experience pricing freight on the spot market
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual workload
- Ability to multi-task, work under moderately stressful situations, and meet deadlines
- Excellent telephone skills (inbound and outbound) and the understanding that the bulk of your day will be on the phone soliciting business from existing and prospective new customers
- Self-motivated personality, with an eye for detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of the internet, email, and other software
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- An Account Manager is responsible for the retention of existing accounts and the development of additional accounts
- The Account Manager’s primary focus will be the development of new accounts to maintain the growth of the team
