Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
5+ or more years’ experience within sales, sales operations, sales training/enablement
Responsibilities
The National Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of sales strategies and the associated tools to deliver high growth to Allsteel’s Architectural Products Category
The successful candidate will be responsible for building a high performing team and fostering the growth of members while developing a new scalable sales model within the category
Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions and other personnel actions
Create and articulate a sales enablement strategic vision and model that will provide the training, skills and tools needed for revenue growth and member development within the Architectural Products division
Leverage extensive knowledge of construction industry to target strategic opportunities for prefabrication product and service offering
Create powerful value proposition that leverages HNI manufacturing capabilities into the construction process
Effectively integrate Allsteel manufacturing capabilities into prefabricated construction solutions; strategically sell this value proposition to national construction companies and business leaders
Develop an aggressive growth strategy focused on segmenting and targeting strategic partnerships within the construction industry
Partner with marketing team to develop customized presentations and other materials, as appropriate, for outreach and pitches
Influence and develop strategic decisions in product development and Go-To Market strategies
Develop and foster relationships with key strategic partners within the construction industry
Partner with division managers and 3rd party vendors to identify opportunities for improvements in sales process, client acquisition, and revenue impact
Proactively engage cross-functionally with sales leadership, marketing, product and operations, to create a yearly sales enablement plan and training calendar
Support forecasting and sales planning activities along with Product Portfolio Manager, Group Operations Manager, Finance Manager, and Production Operations Manager
