7-10 plus years of sales operations, business development or similar experience within a professional services firm
Experience working with government clients

Responsibilities
The opportunity: Account Manager supporting Government and Public Sector (GPS) - State, Local and Education (SLED) accounts
The Assistant Director - SLED Account Manager – Core Accounts proactively drives account management activities, sales and program management, communication and administration related to the account(s)
You will support the Global Client Service Partner (GCSP) and work closely with the account team (e.g. Client Executive and other Business Development (BD) functions) across the GPS Market Segment through communications, frequent follow-up, meetings and reporting to deliver Exceptional Client service – Although you will receive general supervision, you will be expected to work independently
You will be responsible for providing account management support on 2-4 Core accounts across the GPS Market Segment depending upon the account size and scope
You will be expected to work closely with the GCSP and account team to achieve the goals for global revenue, margin and sales pipeline
You will drive the key activities of EY’s Account Management Framework (AMF) and co-develop account strategy with account leadership and drive execution of account plan

The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $98,100 to $178,100
The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $117,700 to $202,400
Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography
