Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Product Support Engineering is seeking a Data Engineer to support multiple product lines in Rolling Meadows, IL. This individual will report to the Manager of Product Support and will contribute to a variety of data analytics and data visualization efforts. They will be a part of a small team working on similar projects. This is a Full-Time Remote position.Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop database-backed applications supporting programs and business operationsConnecting to, analyzing, and visualizing information from several disparate data sets in support of providing greater visibility on various areas of program performanceAutomating reports to allow teams to monitor metrics involving several functional areasLeading data collection efforts and performing trend analysis to identify common performance challenges that require further attentionCreating predictive models to leverage existing data to identify potential areas for improvementBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related experience, or Masters Degree in STEM discipline with 0 years of experienceDemonstrated knowledge of software developmentMust possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributorsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsU.S citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain active DoD Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of C#, SQL, Visual Studio, and GitHubExperience leading data organization & visualization effortsKnowledge of data analytics and visualization softwareSalary Range: $83,300 - $124,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
