Responsibilities

  • The primary objective of this role is to ensure operational excellence while driving benchmark achievement and sustainable growth
  • Lead a team of managers and collaborate closely with senior management and various support departments to achieve benchmark performance and maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency within assigned area
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve financial and service targets, including revenue and call volume growth, cost optimization, customer survey execution and profitability enhancement for all business locations within assigned area
  • Continuously monitor and improve operational processes, procedures, and systems to maximize efficiency, productivity, and increase client family satisfaction
  • Lead the development of annual forecasts for the area, ensuring alignment with benchmarks and company objectives
  • Monitor financial performance and initiate corrective actions as necessary
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and review with managers, prepare and review financial reports, and present key findings to senior management
  • Provide insight and recommendations for opportunities to improve benchmark achievement based on relevant data
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor individual business location managers within area of responsibility
  • Provide guidance, performance-based feedback and maintain a collaborative relationship in order to foster a culture of high performance and accountability which is aligned with our mission
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Ensures fixed assets are Initiates recommendations on purchases of new equipment and improvements to company property
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, safety & risk, training & development, human resources and accounting, to align objective and drive successful outcomes
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including client families, suppliers, regulatory bodies and professional associations, to drive business growth and ensure client family satisfaction in each market
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement best practices, embrace technology solutions, and drive innovation to enhance individual business performance and optimize business performance
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and employee relations issues
  • Work collaboratively with HR Department on all employee issues proactively
  • Works directly with local leadership and VP of Development to manage inventory development and construction projects

  • The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office
  • Outdoor duties may require exposure to natural elements such as inclement weather, extreme temperatures, uneven ground, dust, gas, and/or
  • Equipment used to perform the essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to computer, fax, copier, merchant terminal, multi-line phone system, personal or company owned vehicle, and cemetery grounds maintenance equipment
  • Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift to 25 pounds
  • This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • This position may also be exposed to chemicals and/ or bloodborne pathogens
