Qualifications

  • Must have proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint (MS Access and MS Visio helpful), and the ability to lead presentations with confidence
  • Formal Project Management training or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success applying industry accepted project management tools, processes, and methodologies
  • Strong cross-functional team leadership
  • Ability to lead and understand laboratory instrument service and maintenance business (process & financial)
  • Strong business acumen skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in English

Responsibilities

  • Implementation and deployment of customer Asset Performance Management (APM) programs
  • The Project Manager participates in the conceptual development of APM solutions and develops the project and oversees its organization, scheduling, implementation, and deployment
  • This Project Manager accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities
  • The Project Manager will work directly cross-functionally internally with sales, delivery, engineering, business development, and the customer to ensure the project objectives are aligned and with the contracted scope of work
  • Specific Responsibilities include: Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contracted work scope specifications
  • Track, manage and resolve project issues as they arise throughout the project life cycle Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients
  • Formulate reports by extracting required data from various sources concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling, for internal and external distribution
  • Implement solutions and deploy while adhering to the project management process and methodology
  • Work with sales and service management to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the customer
  • Represent company in customer facing project meetings and attend strategy meetings
  • Track and reconcile revenue, cost of goods, accruals, and customer invoices using principles of cost accounting
  • Demonstrated ability to implement asset performance management programs from established scope of work requirements and commitments
  • Successful management of all new pre-sales Enterprise Solutions modeling and pricing in the Americas Works with sales team in pre-sales activities, negotiation, and contracting process Provide Cross-functional team leadership that is in line with Agilent policies and procedures
