Qualifications
- Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- In-depth understanding of AWS, particularly Serverless technologies like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, SQS, and Cognito
- Experience in an extremely fast-paced environment, working directly with product, finance, marketing, and engineering teams
- Proven aptitude for analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Responsibilities
- They are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help build the design and implementation of the core backend technology driving the product suite
- Contribute in creating backend systems that are resilient and scalable, guaranteeing excellent performance and availability to satisfy the needs of a continually growing user base
- Participate in the architecture and design discussions by providing suggestions and analysis to maximize the maintainability and efficiency of the system
- Implement security best practices in designing and coding backend systems to protect user information and maintain compliance to regulations
- Drive the engineering team to embrace best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment procedures by pushing their adoption and help to create a continuous improvement culture
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (data and frontend team) to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions
