Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Specification sales or similar roles e.g. sales and/or specification sales into residential and/or office construction market or to Architects/Interior designers
  • Drinking water treatment or drinking water dispensing related industry beneficial but not necessary;
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Exceptional time management skills;
  • Proven Ability in building stakeholder relationships quickly;
  • A quantifiable track record of sales achievements;
  • Confidence and credibility in conducting formal presentations to stakeholders and colleagues Proficient in MS Office
  • Travel required

Responsibilities

  • The Regional Sales Manager, Zip Water Products is responsible for developing long term business relationships with Key Architectural, Engineering and Consulting (AEC) firms, including individual influencers and for creating demand for ZIP products by establishing, managing and maintaining a project pipeline
  • They will also work with Zip Distributors, Distributor sales teams and Zip Dealers and developing those relationships through training, events and all related activities
  • Ensure quality “live” and static display requirements are met at all levels
  • Communicate specific growth objectives to distributors and dealers
  • Set up events around new product launches in order to generate interest
  • Ensure the Zip image and brand are presented at dealer and distributor websites accurately and consistently
  • Travel with distributor sales team and make regular visits to dealers, specifiers, builders and kitchen showrooms
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and dealers in order to focus efforts where needed
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with influencers & specifiers such as Architects, Interior Designers and consulting Engineers, to ensure that Zip products are specified on all targeted projects;
  • Pay regular visits to identified / designated specifiers to build and maintain productive relationships, minimum 15 face to face meetings per week;
  • Identify and contact new specifiers in order to establish a business relationship, meeting a minimum of one new specifier per week; Where possible have Zip products installed within key influencer offices to drive advocacy; and
  • Conduct regular training events at Distributor as well as Dealer levels;
  • Pay regular visits to current and potential new dealers and maintain productive relative relationships, minimum 20 face to face meetings per week
  • Report to the Product Management Team on market trends, new competitive products and any issues of significance
  • Meeting and exceeding Sales & Margin budgets for your region
  • Keep abreast of products and technologies through in-house training, external courses, trade publications, etc.;
  • Participate in trade shows and assist colleagues with presentations;
  • Introduce new products using samples and “lunch and learn” presentations at specifier offices, minimum 2 specifications related presentations per week; and
  • Assist customers with correct product selection, design and services specification while seeking opportunities to maximize ZIP product specifications
