Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing or other related field required
  • Significant and successful experience selling into the Healthcare industry, primarily within the Acute Care / Hospital market

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Director - Healthcare is primarily responsible for developing and leading a team of Major Account Executives to meet/exceed assigned sales and profitability targets
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy aligned with overall company objectives
  • Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and expectations
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the assigned sales team
  • Primarily responsible for developing and leading team of Major Account Executives to meet/exceed allocated sales and profitability goals, and assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop strong expertise in Ergotron value proposition and value alignment with healthcare facilities
  • Collaborate with Directors of National Accounts to develop and execute strategies for specific Strategic Account acquisition and growth
  • Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands Ergotron's customer base and ensure a strong market presence and channel execution
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Collaborate with Ergotron Marketing and Sales Operations to improve sales process efficiency
  • Deploy playbooks and training materials for Major Account Executives
  • Travel for in-person ride-alongs and evaluations of team members
  • Collaborate with MAEs on account opportunities where necessary
  • Engage other leaders and teams within and across Ergotron verticals, enhancing overall team performance

  • Salesforce.com opportunity management, aligned with Company process and policies
  • Expenses, trainings, documentation aligned with Company policy
  • Present sales, revenue, expense reports and pipeline / forecasts to the Vice President Healthcare Sales & management team
  • Time traveling to customers, participating in healthcare events, presenting and demonstrating Ergotron value to customers
  • Develop strategic plans to further penetrate and cultivate new business
  • Enhance plans to grow current account sales
  • Achieve sales growth targets and develop sales into the specific assigned major Healthcare accounts
  • Meet and achieve defined sales KPIs
  • Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
  • Identifies changing environments within client organizations which could impact their needs and selling cycle
  • Understands and manages a large and extended strategic sales cycle, appropriately navigating a complex selling environment
