Qualifications

  • Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, social work, counseling and/or nursing required
  • Four (4) or more years’ experience in healthcare business development role required
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile, where facility requires

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with key referral sources identifying and extending opportunities for partnering and growth
  • Works closely with facility discharge partners, direct care professionals to generate referral sources
  • Coordinates with direct care professionals and intake department to ensure efficient admissions process for all patients
  • Educates patients, families, community partners/potential partners other referral sources on programs, services and amenities provided within facility
  • Travels frequently throughout designated area and beyond to meet and educate referral sources through Ohio and neighboring states
  • Utilizes analytic tools, such as Salesforce to efficiently display productivity for connections with referral sources
  • Establishes community outreach initiatives and facilities in partnership with Director and direct care professionals
