HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like:
• Lead a team of Cloud Data Engineers that can provide ML solutions to the Hilton business.
• Communicate with team members and keep project delivery on target.
• Identify opportunities for infrastructure automation, improvements in configuration management, monitoring and alerting, and create solutions for complex cloud infrastructure challenges.
How you will collaborate with others:
• Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, including escalation support for operations and support teams, participate in on-call rotations, and work alongside other engineering teams to ensure adherence to Hilton standards and processes.
• Understand Hilton’s security policies and provide detailed guidance on vulnerability management to the cloud estate.
What projects you will take ownership of:
• Manage projects supporting different parts of the business, consult business and application teams on ML cloud patterns, and build ML solutions using infrastructure as code tools (IAC) and processes and other popular cloud tools.
• Assist teams to deploy workloads into AWS SageMaker, SageMaker Studio, and other cloud ML technologies.
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
• Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
• Two (2) years of professional work experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, or Data Science
• Direct experience configuring and deploying AWS services like IAM, S3, SageMaker, and SageMaker Studio or similar cloud ML technologies using IAC tools like Terraform and Python
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes or similar technologies
• Experience in designing or implementing cloud automation processes using CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Bamboo, or similar technologies.
• Advanced stakeholder management, solutions architecture, or executive-level presentation skills
• Travel up to 10%.
It would be useful if you have:
• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology-related experience, or High School Degree/GED. plus 12+ years of technology-related experience.
• Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related fields.
• Strongly preferred experience in MLOps operating under a GitOps model
• Familiarity with cloud, ML, AI, database, and big data technologies like LLMs, cloud database services, data lakes, data warehouses, data transformation, and managing online IDE environments.
• Prior management experience that includes converting business demands into technical solutions, creating technology roadmaps, project management, growing teams, and presenting to C-Level executives.
