- Machine Learning Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Interview: Phone + Skype Jon description: Seeking a senior-level machine learning engineer to advance the capability, efficiency, and robustness of our Autonomous Data Machines (ADMs). You will work with a team of engineers to design, implement, and tune automatic detection capabilities for our ADM platforms. Your deep knowledge and experience with machine learning tools, processes, and software libraries will have significant impact on the capability of our ADMs and the service they provide to our clients. Responsibilities: Lead our machine learning team in the strategy, design, and implementation of our human/object detection capabilities; Identify appropriate machine learning tools, processes, and software libraries to leverage in our... technical approach; Design models for a variety of detection, classification, and identification applications for humans, vehicles, and objects; Build and/or identify training datasets for above listed scenarios; Design and implement automated tools for rapid testing and tuning of models; Collaborate with robotics engineering team to effectively integrate ML software into our robotic ADM platforms; Perform continuous research on state-of-the-art ML technologies that may be leveraged in future platforms; Collaborate across the entire team to maximize the capability, efficiency, and robustness of our client services. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in real-world applications of machine learning; Deep understanding of mathematical/statistical foundations that ML is built upon; Expertise in generating/analyzing large datasets for model training/tuning; Ability to quickly prototype new ideas and use create approaches to solve complex problems; Experience in deploying ML solutions to the cloud (e.g. Amazon AWS) as well as embedded Linux systems (e.g. NVIDIA Jetson); Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, etc.;Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, scipy, pandas, etc.; Functional understanding of model quantization and edge deployment using TensorRt, ONNXRT, and TFlite; Ability to design and implement real-time computer vision pipelines on embedded devices with standard multimedia frameworks (gstream, ffmpeg, etc.); Programming experience in C++, Python, and Bash; Ability to develop software for Linux and CUDA based systems; Working knowledge of software versioning, testing, maintenance, and documentation processes/tools
