Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role
  • Proficient in SharePoint list management and Power BI
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, Python, Excel or other data analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in writing optimized SQL queries
  • Experience in Data Visualization tools or libraries like Tableau, PowerBI, Python visualization libraries
  • Experience in Python, Airflow, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Apps would be advantageous
  • Having an aptitude for business acumen, data fluency, leveraging insights to make a data-driven decision
  • Deep interest and aptitude in telling stories with data and can translate complex business requirements into technical designs and ultimately business solutions
  • Develop positive relationships with stakeholders to enable a competitive advantage, achieving project objectives and successful implementation
  • Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, geographically distributed and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or related field of study (equivalent experience considered)

Responsibilities

  • As a GP Data Analyst at Micron Technology Inc., you are a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing advanced solutions and predictive models that enable speed in decision-making and deliver significant value across procurement
  • You will collaborate with various roles and teams across the enterprise to design and implement solutions to extract data and insights from the Global Procurement team and partnering organizations such as Supply Chain and IT, as well as Master Data, Data Governance, and Data Scientist throughout the enterprise
  • As part of the GP Digital Transformation and Analytics team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Collect data from various sources, such as databases, web analytics, surveys, etc
  • Analyze data using statistical techniques and tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI etc
  • Identify patterns, trends, and insights in complex data sets
  • Report results and findings to the relevant stakeholders using clear and engaging visualizations and presentations
  • Work with other teams and managers to understand their data needs and provide solutions
  • Define and implement new data collection and analysis processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Perform data analysis using SAP tools and systems (SAP Hana Studio, SAP ECC, etc)
  • Perform data integration and data transformation tasks using SQL, Python, Excel or other tools
  • Work with the Snowflake cloud data platform to store, query, and analyze data
  • Create and maintain SharePoint lists to store and manage data
  • Use Power BI and Tableau to create interactive dashboards and reports
