Qualifications

  • The SWCM must have a strong ability to multi-task, supporting several varying assignments, and have excellent communication skills to be able to collaborate successfully across engineering organizations, management, customers, etc
  • The SWCM must be able to be flexible in the face of challenges and able to adapt to change
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management principles and industry standards
  • Software/Firmware Configuration Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows
  • Must be able to follow commands for SW builds
  • Experience working within an AGILE software development environment
  • Skills associated with build automation and scripting
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration

Responsibilities

  • The Software Configuration Manager (SWCM) will maintain software configuration management tools and processes to support configuration identification, control, reporting, build, installation, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products
  • Data Transfer Agent (DTA) to the Customer Wide Area Network (WAN)
  • Creates, assigns and verifies configuration item part numbers, titles, and media numbers in accordance with established requirements
  • Burn media for SW deliveries to the Customer

  • The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $70,500 - $135,000

  • PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year
  • This position is incentive plan eligible
