Qualifications

  • You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, highly communicative and passionate for discovering new relationships
  • Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment; team player
  • Experience working in the technology industry
  • Proficient in using Salesforce, LinkedIn, and other leading sales automation tools
  • Experience meeting minimum outbound call volume and/or talk time goals
  • Professional phone presentation, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the team, you will be at the forefront of critical new relationships with potential new customers, working closely with our sales, marketing, and product marketing teams
  • Responsible for growing your individual and team’s number of new business closed by proactively generating new qualified leads, dedicated to the Americas region
  • Exceptional cold-call prospecting using consultative phone skills, including the ability to clearly articulate, inspire, project confidence, influence, overcome objections, and remain resilient throughout
  • Respond to inbound interest and qualify fit for the CloudBlue platform through discovery calls
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to drive opportunity
  • Work with regional sales leaders to maintain a geo top accounts target list, taking CloudBlue verticals, use cases and competitive landscape into consideration for list updates
  • Develop unique prospecting messaging for your region based off of product marketing’s global use cases for the CloudBlue platforms
  • Share best practices and prospecting approaches that you have created and seen success with with the global SDR team
  • Work with global marketing team to convey feedback on prospect requirements and help drive targeted account strategy
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competition, and apply those trends to conversations with prospects that lead to CloudBlue as a solution in different industry use cases
  • Aggressive, energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a quota-driven environment
  • Ensure activities are documented properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately and adequate information regarding the prospect and/or opportunity is communicated
  • Travel up to 10% for face-to-face customer engagements, prospect meetings and industry events
