Qualifications
- Facing off to one or more business areas/SME's and understand high level requirements
- Experience of several years in Data warehouse, ETL/Streaming, Data architecture space
- Solid expertise in dimensional modelling and data warehousing
- Deep understanding of System Design and Data Architecture
- Good experience with Design Lage scale Data Warehouse, Data Mart, and Reporting applications
- Experience of working with Market Post Trade functions and exposure to regulatory reporting systems would be advantageous
- Hands on experience in delivering applications/solutions on AWS, Azure etc
- Good to have experience with Data API design and implementation using Microservice based architecture based on Graph QL, REST etc
- Understanding of and hands on experience on Data Visualisation and data analytics tools such as QlikView, Tableau, etc
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible to design & deliver regulatory reports like LIBOR EAR, MIFID II, CAT, Bluesheets which are sent to external regulators along with ACT and other surveillance reports
- Designing and building data warehouses on cloud/on-premises, to provide efficient analytical and reporting capabilities
- Developing highly scalable data pipelines to load data and build Data Warehouse/Mart workflows
- Using cloud based or on-premises tools and technologies like IBM Netezza, AWS cloud, Spark, Informatica, Scala, Python, SQL, Kafka
- Innovating and owning design/architecting solutions and ensuring delivery from requirement to successful completion
- Spearheading planning, development, testing and production implementation with highest level of standards
- Accounting for critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, discussing and documenting high level requirement, system requirements, design workflows etc
- Working independently with different areas/teams from business, operations, engineering, and support teams
