Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees are a MUST
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and other data engineering tools
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools
- Strong knowledge in data warehousing solutions and ETL processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer at Grange, you will play a crucial role in constructing and maintaining the architecture of our data systems
- This position is perfect for those who thrive in building reliable data pipelines and enjoy optimizing data flow and collection to support decision-making in property investment and development
- Design, construct, install, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems
- Develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data infrastructure needs
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all data engineering processes
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
- Optimize data flow and collection for cross-functional teams
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Work closely with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
- Share insights and recommendations on improving data systems and data usage efficiency
