Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative discipline
  • 4+ years of experience working in a statistics/AI/ML technics role

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Data Scientist develops and implements data-driven solutions focused on the use of, machine learning, predictive analytics, computer simulation, operations research and data science to optimize care delivery and program efficiency
  • These solutions create value through cost effective improvements to decision-making, risk stratification and resource allocation that ultimately improve the quality and safety of patient care, promote greater equity in health outcomes, while reducing cost and variation in care delivery
  • This individual will work collaboratively with other team members, operational and clinical collaborators
  • Lead and provide value driven, advanced quantitative analytics support to multi-faceted projects across ChristianaCare with a focus on enterprise strategic decision making, operation efficiency, quality of care, and health equity
  • Lead and execute large-scale advanced analytic projects utilizing a broad range of machine learning, statistical modeling, system engineering, and other advanced analytics techniques
  • Interpret and present analytical techniques, key findings, solutions, and deliverables to the Center for Strategic Information Management and hospital leadership
  • Design and develop the advanced analytics solutions that can be embedded into clinical workflow for operation use
  • Support the ongoing management, tracking, reporting, and optimization of advanced analytics/prediction model solutions with clinical operation teams
  • Produce reports, presentations, and/or white papers pertaining to ongoing and completed projects for ChristianaCare leaders
  • Provide mentorship and training support to junior data scientists and analytical community of the organization
