Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in statistics, applied mathematics, physics, financial mathematics, computer science, engineering, operations research, or other highly quantitative field; or a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 4+ years of experience in analytics based roles, supporting internal and external clients
  • Advanced programming skills with the below tools:
  • R or Python
  • SQL, C/C++, Java, Ab Initio
  • Hive, Spark
  • Solid understanding of deep learning concepts and architectures
  • Strong knowledge of time series analysis, modeling and forecasting time series data and hands on implementation experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow)
  • Proven project management abilities; designing, developing, and delivering complex solutions
  • This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week
  • Prior experience working in financial services or FinTech
  • Working knowledge of large language models (LLM)
  • Hands on experience with Generative AI (GenAI)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)

Responsibilities

  • Own analytic consulting for a variety of clients, identifying strategies and opportunities to test and adopt TransUnion's analytic products and services
  • Lead complex custom analytic engagements for a variety of business use cases from start to finish; contributing to opportunity management, designing solutions, leading analytic developments, and seeing solutions through to deployment and on-going monitoring
  • Present analytic insights and recommendations for internal and external customers
  • Develop analytic solutions, formalizing some efforts into repeatable process improvements
  • Contribute to research and innovation initiatives; leading analytic research teams/ interns on a project basis

  • The salary range for this position is $95,105.00 - $156,000.00
