Qualifications
- WHAT YOU'LL NEED Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- years leading and deploying complex system design, business or data analysis, process improvement or technology projects
- years with the Microsoft data platform (MSSQL & Azure)
Responsibilities
- THE ROLE The business data analyst will be involved in deeply understanding and communicating data requirements and policy for the Make-A 1 Wish business and will strive to be a trusted business advisor between national IT, other national business units, and chapters
- Facilitate evaluation of key business decisions that informs policy creation and implementation
- Work with business/product stakeholders to document data needs and gaps
- Understand key systems, integrations, data models, reporting structures, and risk / security elements related to organization data
- Help business stakeholders envision the future and how data and reporting will need to change to support their vision
- Use quantitative/qualitative techniques to analyze data and provide decision support
- Present policy and requirements to Data Governance and BI Operations teams for downstream execution
- Align and execute communication and change management strategy in support of project execution and rollout, including development of training materials
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish simple requests from value drivers
- Perform other job-related duties, as assigned
