Demonstrated experience working with & optimizing large, complex data sets

Skill with data visualization (PowerBI, ggplot, plotly, etc.)
& storytelling skills to help translate complex insights to stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy
Strategic bent and ability to drive, build, and optimize analyses and light-weight data products without strict guidance
Strong SQL skills and robust working knowledge of Data Warehousing required

2 years’ experience within Advertising/Media Data
6 years of direct experience in Data Analyst/Science roles
Some travel may be required, up to 5%
Responsibilities
The Business Analytics team will work directly with Strategy and our Senior Leadership to help answer questions that influence the direction of the business in both short & long term via data-driven insights and targeted recommendations
In this role, you will not only be leading analytical projects, but also helping us build and define our roadmap and help stand up structure and process for Business Analytics that help us work more effectively as a team and as part of the larger business
Tactically, you will be working hands-on with your adept SQL & Python knowledge to parse through large & noisy datasets to validate assumptions and uncover new paths forward
You will report to the Head of Business Analytics and act as a thought-partner for team direction as well as helping mentor other analysts on the team seeking to grow their knowledge & expertise
Ingest & explore Promotional data to help understand how it impacts our campaigns and how to integrate the data in our decision-making
Build methodologies for structuring our Audience & Category data into more useful classifications for analytics
Serve as the core stakeholder for building our Predictive Analytics capabilities and help identify & surface insights to inform its direction
Help break down historical campaign compositions to tease out causal relationships between an individual component and a campaign’s performance
Investigate and conduct deep dives into data across digital channels to understand customer engagement
Tie together inventory, sales, and financial data to build a holistic, comprehensive understanding of the current & future state of our business
Lead the strategic standardization of KPIs across the business to ensure data cohesiveness for our most critical data
Design & organize our analytics tech stack
Benefits
The salary range is $95,400 to $123,900 annually
Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications
