UX Designer (Arlington, VA) – Telecommuting Permissible (multiple positions). Conduct and analyze user research, define and prioritize user needs, and design software features for responsive web applications; Design and validate improvements and features for responsive web applications; Identify user behaviors through contextual research and usability studies; Find patterns and define insights from large datasets; Write microcopy to guide users through complex tasks; Contribute to our company’s shared User Interface (“UI”) design and illustration systems; Perform Agile (SCRUM) development; and Conduct comparative analysis, information architecture, rapid prototyping, and hi-fidelity interaction design. Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Emerging Media Design Development or a related field and 2 years work experience in the job offered or a related position working with product design in an Agile environment. Also... requires six (6) months of experience with each of the following: Conducting quantitative UX research; Figma to conceptualize and create the overall design and experience of a digital product; focusing on User Interface and Experience Design to facilitate proper results; Digital Media Authoring using Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe InDesign and ArcGIS Story Maps, and Analytics-driven web design and maintenance using FullStory and Google Analytics.
