Qualifications
- You have a background in applying open source solutions to production problems
- You are an eager learner that quickly adapts to new information and challenges
- You have strong algorithm, distributed systems and application SQL skills
- You align strongly with our company values, as well as the concepts of servant leadership and radical candor
- You’re familiar with docker and google cloud
- You have a background in workflow automation
- However, we find that people who fit the above criteria have often spent a few years working as a Software Engineer or Backend Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- As an early backend engineer you will take point in building the apis and scheduling systems of our ML backed products
- You will be given far-ranging independence in the areas you prove proficient in, and be supported with ample coaching resources within the areas you'd like to improve upon
- Empower small business by designing and implementing algorithms to streamline processing financial documents or communications
- Work with our web and data engineers to deploy user facing workflow automation solutions
- Use Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Golang, Big Query, PubSub, Spanner, GraphQL, and other technologies to develop services
- Develop production grade, well tested, idiomatic code for the problem at hand
