Qualifications

  • Generally, requires 3-5 years related experience in financial planning, business analysis and strategy
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related experience in corporate finance/FP&A
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerBI
  • Experience working in NetSuite, Hyperion Essbase/Smartview, and PBCS
  • Ability to develop new strategies of approaching business challenges independently
  • Strong and independent analytical thinker and influencer
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management
  • Self-starter and highly proactive in outreach to business units and functional organizations
  • Consultative skills to deliver expertise and problem-solve with business leaders
  • Proven experience in exercising independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a variety of planning and analysis duties to support corporate planning, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis on revenue and expenses to present business trends to corporate executives during monthly P&L meetings
  • Participate in the Annual Business Plan and other special projects including financial analysis and in-depth reporting as necessary
  • Usually determines own work priorities
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Develops, implements, and distributes a range of monthly financial reports and metrics reviewed during month-end close and quarterly senior executive meetings including divisional P&Ls, balance sheet, and Proformas
  • Assists in the development of the Annual Business Plan including full ownership of the distribution and collection of the divisional sales templates
  • Provides analysis and evaluation of all areas of finance including GP, expenses, and bottom-line profits by division, manufacturer, and customer
  • System Admin for PowerBI including development, administration, and reporting of dashboards (Sales/GP, Inventory, AR, AP) to provide business intelligence allowing for better understanding of profitability drivers
  • Oversees company-wide NetSuite initiatives including preparation of Hyperion Smartview/PBCS financials, configuration and improvement of the existing library of NetSuite/PBCS reports
  • Provides budget, forecast, and variance analysis with rationale behind reports and relays to management as needed
  • Assists the Director of FP&A with analyzing and communicating effective financial and operation information and special projects including variance analysis, AR reporting, and inventory reporting
  • Provides financial modeling and decision support analysis for various ad-hoc financial projects
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned (Ad Hoc)
