Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and reporting requirements
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • Strong working experience with tax systems & tools

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will play a critical part in enhancing our tax systems and optimizing financial processes
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain tax-related systems, identify new tax use cases for process automation & efficiency , and driving efficiency and accuracy in our tax processes
  • This role will work closely with multiple teams
  • Tax System Optimization: Assess, analyze, and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Snowflake's tax systems and processes
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements for the various tax teams at Snowflake and lead initiatives to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Systems Integration: Collaborate with integration engineers to integrate tax systems with other financial and data management systems
  • Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of tax systems, processes, and compliance requirements
  • Vendor Management: Work with external tax software vendors to optimize their products for Snowflake's needs
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner cross functionally with various teams to deliver automation for the tax teams
  • Snow on Snow: Identify and help drive implementation of new tax use cases using Snowflake’s own proprietary technology

Benefits

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $141,000 - $196,350
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan
  • The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location
