Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5-7 years automotive industry experience in sales or administrative capacity
  • Basic ability to navigate Internet and Intranet software packages
  • Ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible, dependable and creative
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills (English required.)
  • Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
  • Must be able to manage time and determine priorities
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • At ease and effective in a matrix, multicultural and fast evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for business acquisition, development programs of New Energies project targets and objectives
  • This includes daily management of program commercial issues including production, prototype and services
  • Commercial Management of the assigned Customer Center to insure profitability, growth and customer satisfaction
  • Manage Commercial Success:
  • Achieve and exceed financial objectives
  • Accountability for customer satisfaction and New Business RFQ responses
  • Drive Change Management system cost accumulation, pricing and tracking to closure
  • Purchase Order management for piece price and tooling
  • Manage cost reduction expectations of customer
  • Manage customer service division requirements
  • Assure closure of outstanding commercial issues
  • Responsible for new business quotations, utilizing INPRO tools and procedures, to obtain growth opportunities
  • Support business development in identifying opportunities for vertical system growth
  • Team Participation:
  • Establish and maintain an effective system of communication and information flow cross functionally throughout the company
  • Actively support the program team for commercial management as a program core team member
  • Drive change management process for team
  • ​​​​​​​Support sales and business development activities
  • Must successfully complete all NE required training
  • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
  • Support and follow the NE quality system
