Required Experience:1+ years of related experience, including experience conducting financial analyses
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated experience querying, processing, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets
Functional knowledge and experience with data visualization software or other reporting tools to inform narratives and business decisions

Responsibilities
Maintain working functional knowledge of business needs and practices of the University's administrative processes
Interpret NYU's Business Expense Policy to respective units
Train and troubleshoot with Directors/Managers/Staff on financial platforms
Review and approve Procurement, Student Information System, Total Contract Management System, Journal Entries, Budget Modifications, and Travel and Expense transactions, in addition to reviewing and approving Corporate Travel Accounts and Purchasing Card transactions
Perform financial analysis and run and maintain reports, e.g., quarterly, variance, headcount, Annual Merit Increase, and Travel and Expense reports for the Division of Student Affairs and Office of Global Services
Reports also include forecasting revenue and expenses, preparing an annual presentation to the central leadership, and loading budgets
May work on projects incorporating large university datasets for the Executive Director of Budget and Finance, the Director and Manager for Provost Fiscal Affairs
