Qualifications

- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within an accounting department
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, principles, and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants and financial professionals
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports
- Provide guidance and support to staff on complex accounting issues
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy of employee compensation
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
