About the Role:

Vice President Business Development Leader is a critical partner facing role driving and managing new business opportunities with strategic emphasis. Identify new opportunities for issuing, acquiring and money movement lines of business and grow sales with new relationships. Develop, grow and manage a highly performing business development team. Focused on growing the BaaS network and creating executive level access for new business opportunities and to make Pathward’s full value proposition known and understood.

What You Will Do:

Setting performance and business development goals for Pathward’s BaaS and attaining goals to drive sustainable net income growth for the division.
Drive significant and material new opportunities for Pathward issuing, acquiring and money movement capabilities.
Develop processes to monitor and measure the effectiveness of sales processes within BaaS, leveraging SalesForce and other tools
Work with business development team members to accelerate deal cycles and remove barriers
Develop strategies to cultivate lead generation opportunities
Identifying, evaluating, and conducting follow-up through the business development process to bring deals to completion.
Collaborate with across internal stakeholders to ensure an excellent partner experience across all interactions.
Deep understanding of a variety of BaaS products, including issuing, acquiring and money movement and industry trends
Work collaboratively with the sales enablement and marketing to develop creative outreach strategies to attract new business.
Represent Pathward externally at conferences and payments trade shows to effectively drive business development opportunities to the company.
Ability to function well in a dynamic environment

What You Will Need:

10+ years of Payments Business Development experience.
5+ years of high-level success sales leadership.
Experience in a banking environment is a plus
Experience with start-ups, growth companies and complex corporate entities, preferred.
Prefer experience with working with Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, et el.)
Experience with FinTech & Payments organizations presenting to C suite buyers.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience

Salary range: $145,796.47 – $240,564.18

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
