Quantum Health’s Data Integration team is looking for an energetic and passionateData Engineer IIto help guide and build out a high quality, scalable and resilient data platform . This role will be a key part of the Data Integrations team of data engineers, BA’s and coordinators, delivering integrations in a high-growth environment; seeking to positively impact the lives of 3+ million members.

Quantum Health is uniquely positioned in the healthcare industry to exchange data with a wide variety of partners, bringing a more comprehensive care navigation to the members we service . The Data Engineer II supports business process through technology solutions and data integrations. This role is responsible for working in partnership with Architects, DBAs, and other members of Data Engineering teams for the maintenance, enhancement and new integrations. This role will have additional partnership with Clients and external partners in ingesting data to meet client deliverables .

Implementing best practices across disciplines and working across team and partner boundaries to drive consistency and quality makes this a challenging and exciting role. Data Engineering II will be a part of a team that is a constant champion for Quantum's values and pillars.

What You’ll Do

Design and build new data integrations with SSIS, SQL, and/or appropriate development languages
Work with Data Analysts or Business Partners to ensure integration requirements are satisfied
Support existing processes (analyze/tune queries, implement performance enhancements)
All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
3 years + experience in similar technical roles (ETL, Application Development etc.)
Ability to analyze data, find patterns, identify issues, and enhance and improve the integrity and quality of data and associated technical processes.
Proficient at troubleshooting technical issues.
Demonstrable experience with SSIS-based ETL processing and development as well as SQL Server
Strong knowledge / background of one of the following: .Net C# Application Development / Python / Java / Javascript
Experience with Software Engineering best practices.
Familiarity with different data interchange standards (XML, JSON, X12 etc.)
