If you're a strong technical Sr. Accountant looking for a collaborative team and dynamic environment where you can be challenge within a global organization, you may be a great fit for a hybrid Sr. Accountant role we're helping one of our clients fill. This role can sit at their corporate HQ in Charlotte during in-office days, but has the opportunity to be located at few other locations within the Southeast.

The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant involve overall ownership of the general ledgers and month-end close activity as it pertains to revenue: determine proper revenue recognition & implement accrual accounting based on customer contractual agreements, perform financial analysis and closely analyze variances, implement process improvements to improve efficiency and quality in accounting and reconciliation activities, maintain process documentation to ensure compliance and work with external auditors during year-end financial audits. This is a highly collaborative role, therefore the best-fit candidate will have strong communication, collaboration and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) degree in Accounting or Finance required
3-5 years of experience in industry or public accounting required
CPA certification preferred
