About the Role

We are seeking an Accountant to join team Bronson! This individual should be skilled in accounting practices, effective communication, and Microsoft Office.

The Accountant is responsible for all general accounting for a specific corporation or group of corporations. Responsibilities include general ledger account analysis, preparation of financial statements, budgets, audit work papers, and other accounting duties assigned. Responsible for management and internal controls on auxiliary financial information systems such as accounts receivable, cash receipts, disbursements and internal management reports. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3 years progressive and dynamic experience in general ledger accounting required.
MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Healthcare And/or Public Accounting Experience Preferred.
Basic knowledge of GAAP is required.

Responsibilities

Complete monthly financial statements within applicable close timelines.
Develop budgets within applicable deadlines.
Complete account reconciliations within reconciliation policy.
Prepare applicable audit workpapers within audit deadlines.
Competent in all applicable Finance systems.
Identify and implement process efficiencies.
