The Opportunity

Neato is seeking our first Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role on the Growth team. Reporting to and collaborating closely with our VP of Growth, you will be responsible for building out our BDR practice of analyzing commerce trends and identifying, targeting, and engaging new opportunities that lead to net-new client growth. The ideal candidate has experience building new pipeline from relentless efforts around outbound activity, networking events, and nurturing inbound leads. They are proficient with sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Nav, ZoomInfo, Demandbase and/or 6Sense. Key Responsibilities

Relentless Prospecting: Utilize a variety of tools including email, LinkedIn, in-person conferences, and more to identify and engage potential clients.
Outreach Strategy Development: Build and maintain a rigorous outreach cadence to ensure a steady stream of potential leads.
Lead Qualification: Conduct initial introduction and discovery calls to gauge the viability of leads for Neato's Growth team.
Collaborate: Work closely with the VP of Growth and the broader sales team to refine outreach strategies and share feedback from the market.
Report: provide insights from transparent data and activity on what is working, what’s not, and what’s needed to accelerate new wins.
Optimize our tech stack: Optimize efforts through tools including HubSpot, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc. We inspect what we expect and we are accountable for doing what we say we will.

Requirements

Prior experience in a BDR or sales role.
Familiarity with Amazon’s marketplace is highly regarded.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, organized, and proactive mindset
High ethical standards
Strong analytical skills, problem solving and a keen attention to detail
