Position is based at 921 W. Monroe Ave, Lowell, AR 72745, however, incumbent can be located anywhere within the Arvest 4 State Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Position requires availability Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

SUMMARY:Under the limited direction of the Director of Finance, the Senior FP&A Analyst will coordinate and complete a variety of projects and functions within the Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) department, Finance Division and the Bank. The incumbent serves as a data, analysis and subject matter expert supporting numerous critical processes and projects including, but not limited to, Dodd-Frank Act Stress Test (“DFAST”), IT Steering Committee projects, budgeting, forecasting, strategic decision support, etc. The incumbent is expected to provide support to the Arvest Bank CFO, Director of Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis team members and other senior managers on a variety of high level projects and functions. The associate is a liaison between IT and numerous areas of the Bank and leads process improvement efforts with the goal of improving the accuracy and usefulness of financial data. The incumbent is expected to draw on extensive experience and knowledge of Arvest systems, data and activities in the completion of day-to-day job duties and functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provide support to the Arvest Bank CFO, Director of Finance and other senior management members for special and high profile projects (e.g., process changes, system implementations, research, group goals, product development, etc.). Once the project or issue has been identified, the associate is generally expected to research the issue and use independent judgment and experience to develop the best solution for the issue and develop the appropriate metrics and/or reporting.
Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes. Work closely with other Finance associates to provide data and analysis and to complete certain sections of the budget or forecast within the prescribed timelines.Serve as the Finance Division representative on Arvest committees and IT Steering Committee projects as assigned by manager.
Liaise between IT and various areas of Arvest Bank Operations in order to ensure data accuracy and validity. Lead process improvement efforts that result in enhanced financial data, process efficiency and analytical capability. Consult with various areas of the Bank to achieve these goals including IT, Credit Administration, Retail Bank Operations, etc.
Confirm data and key assumption accuracy used in critical financial models, as directed by manager.
Participate in the DFAST process, as directed by manager.
Provide support to Credit Administration, Special Assets and others for special data requests requiring an extensive understanding of CBS / Signature and other Arvest systems.
Participate on bank acquisition due diligence reviews, as needed and assigned by manager. Serve as the Finance Division lead on bank conversion teams.
Coordinate the loan and other tracking processes of banks acquired under FDIC Loss Share Agreements and agreements similar in nature to the FDIC Loss Share Agreement. Develop an understanding of the applicable purchase and assumption agreements and implement the relevant tracking and reporting as required by the agreement.
Assist the Arvest Bank CFO with ensuring the applicable internal controls are in place within the Finance Division as well in the various Local Banks and Shared Services Divisions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors degree or higher with a focus in accounting or finance or equivalent experience in the field of banking required.
7 years of related experience including previous experience in making major decisions that involve accounting and financial management required.
4 years experience working directly with CBS / Signature or other banking software (e.g. loan, deposit and general ledger subsystems) required.
Above average skills with spreadsheet software and strong analytical abilities required.
Proven ability to work with people at all levels of an organization and with outside consultants and advisors required.
Oracle Hyperion experience is preferred.
Lawson / Infor experience is preferred.
Previous Arvest experience is preferred.
