Main Purpose of the Role:

The main role of the manager is to manage, control and measure Strategic Accounts’ experience and verify that the team will achieve the targets and provide an excellent service to the customers.

Provide direction and leadership to the DSG team by ongoing coaching / development to the DSG team reps.

Main Tasks:

Serves as the point of contact to all DSG Team members. Drives accountability in other departments which interface with DSG team.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to all DSG Team members.
Monitoring and measuring through metrics of our daily performance versus our commitment to the customers.
Setting a clear governance around system and process adherence
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Meet with customers regularly via teleconference or in person to establish relationships and gain an understanding of their requirements and expectations.
Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment to support sales efforts and the increasing of shipping volumes.
Interact with ZIM colleagues throughout the ZIM global network to ensure maintenance of good working relationships between areas.
Work together regularly with customers to resolve any problems they encounter with the shipment of their cargo.
Coordinate with the Operations, Pricing, Logistics, Marketing, Import, Export Documentation, Booking, and Equipment Control, Accounting, and Regulatory departments to ensure that any and all policies and procedures that effect our daily operations are properly implemented and adhered to.
Track and monitor KPI reports in order to monitor the productivity levels of Dedicated Service Group to ensure high quality service to customers.
Performs various miscellaneous customer requests.
Evaluates and Communicates with Financial department to help reconcile all payment discrepancies (Short Pay or Over Pay).
Interviewing, and training associates.
Planning and directing team assignments.
Prepare written evaluations and verbally communicate with associates.
Setting goals, rewarding and disciplining associates.
Addressing complaints and resolving problems, while acting as the primary point of contact between ZIM and the DSG customer.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
Four to Six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous relevant industry or leadership experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software
Management Experience
