Job Overview:

Hawthorn Bank is seeking a high visibility project manager responsible for managing project delivery for complex enterprise, bank-wide projects with cross-functional project teams.
Projects may be comprised of several departments, have high visibility, pressing schedules, and require negotiation skills to balance the needs of project stakeholders.
The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing and documenting project work and program documents.
Specific work duties include maintaining project plans, creating documentation around standard processes and programs, meeting preparation, communications, and other assigned projects.
This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies, processes/procedures – projects have clear start/end dates; specific manpower resource allocations; budgets and are clearly identified as a "project" by the business.
An In-office role, primarily.

Job Responsibilities:

Independently manages project activities, information, and resources.
Manage relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Accountable for moderately complex project governance.
Responsible for business stakeholder communications including issue/risk escalation and resolution.
Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.

Position requires:

Strong Project Management skill set.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 with daily practice in Excel and PowerPoint.
Initiative-taking work approach to anticipate needs and next steps.
Independent worker who moves projects forward.
Close partnership with the executive leadership team members to ensure work is on time and progressing.
Provides input to project approach and steps to ensure alignment with business goals.
At least 5 years of project management experience.
Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Expectations

Bachelor's degree.
Willing to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
Position may at times require extended or irregular hours outside of traditional office hours to support clients and projects across multiple time zones and any required travel.

Work Experience:

Microsoft 365 Office required.
Both Business and Technology project experience
Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills, Lucid Chart, Visio acumen.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Microsoft SharePoint utilization / design.
Microsoft Teams.
Experience with MS Project.

Licenses and Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP).
