Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Work with Director of Solutions Delivery to set up, assign, and monitor all project activities.
Ensure successful project delivery including full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.
Manage day-to-day project activities, resources, and chair project management team meetings.
Report contract progress to Executive management and stakeholders through status reports and monthly Project Management Reviews (PMR).
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across internal and external stakeholders.
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs.
Manage project communications, stakeholder expectations, action items, and status meetings.
Ensure appropriate team members are allocated to the project, onboard new staff, ensure staff documentation is complete, evaluate staff competency levels, identify skill gaps, and identify required project-specific training. Distribute appropriate charge codes to the staff.
Monitor staff performance, initiate staff improvement plans (if needed) and complete performance reviews.
Collect, analyze and report on project success criteria results, process metrics, test and deployment management activities.
Facilitate annual system audits and penetration tests with the team.
Use the organizational process asset library (eScope) to plan the processes that will take place during the execution of the project and work with PSO/QM to document tailored processes.
Complete, review, and maintain all project management plans regularly and maintain risks, work products, and project artifacts and ensure peer reviews are conducted for all deliverables.
Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
Implement corrective actions for activities or processes that are non-compliant.
Elicit Lessons Learned, DAR, augmentation, and OTIs with staff on a regular basis.
Obtain confirmation of final deliverables, recognize staff and team accomplishments, and complete Project Closeout including Transition Plan and oversee its execution.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

7+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects.
7+ years of experience working with business stakeholders with full product lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle.
Prior experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and/or Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) related services or systems will be considered a plus. Familiarity with the CMMI development or service models, experience with government contracting, and security compliance, would all be desirable skills.
Must demonstrate significant initiative, independence, ability to follow through, and an interest in learning our business are essential.
Security clearance or background check may be required at varying levels, depending on particular project assignments or role.
Follow established procedures and guidelines.
Implement approved changes and communicate status to the PM/Department.
Support understanding and implementation of approved requirements as planned/scheduled.
Conduct and contribute to audits, resolution of compliance gaps, Lessons Learned, and implement process improvements, as designated by the PM/Department Lead.
Analyze requested changes for LOE, provide estimates, and update plans, as assigned.
Evaluate work products/deliverables for technical accuracy and adherence to project requirements and standards.
Use SharePoint and document controls to follow established processes.
When assigned as author, complete document updates, initiate peer review, complete the review process, and ensure updates are made according to that process.
