Job Description Summary:

The Nurse Recruiter works collaboratively with the Vice President of Recruitment and Billing to actively recruit nursing and clinical personnel. He/she facilitates selection of optimal personnel for positions and the processing of new hires. The Nurse Recruiter also coordinates job fairs, performs special projects as assigned, and assists the Vice President of Recruitment in the attainment of established goals.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

Developing and maintaining candidate pipelines for nurses across the country
Effectively utilizes existing recruitment resources and develops new sources and contacts.
Maintains a strong social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Seeks out, interviews, screens, and recruits job applicants to fill current openings
Collaborates with the VP of Recruitment and Nursing leadership to determine the needs of the organization.
Provides information on company mission and job opportunities to potential applicants.
Conducts interviews of healthcare personnel to obtain work history, education training , job skills and salary requirements.
Screens and refers qualified applicants to Naven Health nursing leaders for a follow-up interview and for the final hiring decision to be made.
Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration.
Manage all aspects of resume tracking, including scanning, acknowledgment and database updates
Build and cultivate strong professional relationships with clinical leaders.
Project a high regard for the dignity and worth of clinical personnel
Knowledge of the full lifecycle of recruiting and placement of clinical personnel
Strong self-starter who can be consultative and collaborative to influence individuals in other departments as well as the team the role oversees.
Solid problem solving and analytical skills with an ability to find solutions to complex problems.
Proven ability to lead including hiring, developing and motivating a diverse team.

Proven ability to demonstrate success with recruitment or business initiatives
Proficient with the use of Word, Excel and Power Point applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Due to some state pay transparency laws, below is the minimum pay for the position:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Minimum pay is $32.44+
