As a Senior National Security Account Executive, you will:

Join a dedicated sales team focused on providing solutions to the US military, government, national security, and intelligence sectors in a hybrid (inside/outside) sales environment
Prospect, manage the sales cycle, and close significant deals with US government agencies, defense contractors, and national security entities
Apply a disciplined, consultative, and relationship-based approach tailored to the unique requirements of federal and defense customers
Engage in a high volume of quality interactions with prospects, enabling discovery and customization of our value proposition based on specific national security use cases
Conduct presentations and product demonstrations in person, via secure video conferencing, and at government facilities
Build strategic, long-term relationships with government and defense customers that support a “land & expand” approach to account growth
Overachieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets specific to the national security sector
Log, track, and manage all sales activities in Salesforce, adhering to federal reporting requirements
Manage, nurture, and expand relationships by interacting with and influencing key decision-makers within defense and government agencies
Collaborate with the Client Services team for pre- and post-sales activities tailored to the unique requirements of the defense and government sectors
Travel, as required, with a focus on visiting government facilities and attending defense industry events (up to 20%)

Requirements:

Security Clearance: Must hold at least a SECRET security clearance. TOP SECRET/SCI clearance is preferred
8+ years of proven experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions to US government, military, national security, or intelligence community customers
Familiarity with the procurement processes of US government and defense agencies
BA or BS degree; advanced degrees in relevant fields are a plus
Proven ability to prospect, build relationships, and close new business within the defense and government sectors
A consultative, discovery-based sales methodology tailored to government procurement processes (formal training a plus)
Direct experience and a strong network within the US defense, intelligence, and national security communities
Demonstrated history of landing & expanding business contracts within the government and defense sectors
Experience providing customer-facing sales presentations tailored to government and defense stakeholders
Proven track record of closing significant deals within the federal sector
Successful history of consistently exceeding all monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas
Proven ability to thrive in a high growth, startup environment, while navigating the complexities of the defense and government sectors
Entrepreneurial, ambitious, and passionate about national security and defense solutions

$120,000 - $160,000 a year

Thebasesalary range displayed is applicable to the general US and may be adjusted based on geographic location. Compensation decisions depend on the circumstances of each case, including skill sets, experience, certifications, and business and organizational needs.
