TEWS has an exciting opportunity for an Accountant with one of our Central Florida based clients. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the organization’s reconciliations and deposits as this company has experienced a lot of growth. The position engages with a variety of service providers, contractors, and cross-departmental resources to respond to problems and assist in coming up with solutions.

Salary:65k-72K Based on experience

Duties And Responsibilities

Develops and prepares journal entries.
Maintains and reconciles accounts in accordance with GAAP or compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Performs portions of or supporting schedules for financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Analyzes accounts to ensure compliance with GAAP and compliance with applicable legal requirements.
Assists in analysis and documentation of internal accounting and administrative controls and procedures.
Performs analyses involving computing ratios or assembling and summarizing accounting literature on an assigned issue.
Analyzes portions of financial statements and exhibits.

Skills

Knowledge of accounting and auditing theory, principles, and concepts.
Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.
Knowledge of internal control concepts.
Collaborate effectively with Finance department
Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of two years of professional accounting experience.
