Responsibilities:

Develop and implement successful sales strategies and tactics within our utility target markets
Develop and close new sales within utilities to meet quotas and sales goals
Develop and implement detailed account penetration and market plans
Prioritize opportunities based on probability, size, timing and strategic initiatives
Develop long term relationships within our utility markets and customer base
Work with our partners to identify and win new sales
Ensure sales strategies are aligned with the overall market and financial objectives
Be prepared to rapidly respond to new opportunities, customer inquiries and site issues
Work closely with our Marketing team to develop Go To Market strategies
Provide routine reporting on sales activities, market needs and resources needed
Stay apprised of the latest tends and solutions within ADMS and utility solutions
Attend industry events and conferences

Key qualifications:

5+ years experience selling software and SaaS energy management, ADMS and grid analytics solutions to large utilities
Proven experience selling at all levels within a utility from users to C-level executives
Working knowledge of utilities and the energy market
Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas and market growth goals
Ability to develop and implement Go To Market strategies and sales plans including measurable goals and timelines
Extensive knowledge of effective large enterprise sales practices specifically for the energy markets
Comfortable and proficient in reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders both within AutoGrid as well as external customers
Impeccable organization and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams efficiently and effectively.
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage a sales pipeline moving sales through a large enterprise sales process
Proficiency with common sales and business productivity software
Creative and resourceful
